Director of Engineering Field Services

PEC is currently seeking qualified candidates for the newly created position of Director of Engineering Field Services. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Environmental Construction Services and will be responsible for managing PEC’s engineering support to programs currently underway in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic areas. Placement in this position is IMMEDIATE. Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.

PEC is expanding its services to not only include direct field and headquarters support to construction projects performed under subcontract to others, but now to include construction/remediation services/environmental and facilities management services. In order to support this expansion, PEC is looking for an individual with the following credentials and capabilities:

• Ability to manage multiple projects conducted at diverse sites
• Ability to manage a team of engineers, project managers and field service managers
• Demonstrated business development / marketing abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to worker safety and health as well as a strong understanding of QA/QC programs
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience
• Knowledge of commercial and Federal programs
• Experience in, or conversant with American forestry technology
• Experience in, or conversant with structural, civil, and construction engineering methodologies
• Experience in, or conversant with standards and methodologies of structural demolition
• Experience in environmental science and remediation
• Conversant with the fundamentals of commercial excavation
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Must be able to obtain a secret or top secret security clearance
• An engineering degree from an accredited university in a related discipline is a minimum, an advanced degree is desirable, but not required
• Maintain a current professional engineering certification
