Employment Position: Senior Safety and Health Program Manager

 

Responsibilities:

 

         Work with our clients to development Corporate policies related to safety and health issues

         Gather information from various sources and databases to measure the safety and quality performance of client organization.

         Research various organizations and apply that research to our client’s needs.

         Analyze and convert data into logical and understandable charts and graphs to allow easy reading by executive management.

         Develop benchmarks to support program improvements

         Write reports explaining the trends and indication of the collected information and provide potential options and recommendations when requested.

         Develop other reports or presentation as required by the client.

         Assess and offer improvements in data collecting methods.

         Lead special projects as they arise.

         Maintain initiative, flexibility, and cooperation in a team environment.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

         Knowledge and experience with the Department of Energy’s safety and health programs and policies.

         Prior experience analyzing safety and health and writing reports, briefs, presentations and outlines, etc.

         Must be comfortable with change, response to activities on short notice with occasional long hours, and working directly with clients.

         Experienced in the tools of Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

 

         Capable of obtaining access to the Department of Energy’s various administrative facilities.

         Active DOE security “Q” clearance or immediate reactivation is a plus, but not a requirement.

         Bachelors Degree in a related field of Engineering or Business and five years experience; or fifteen-plus years experience in required qualifications.

         Knowledge of DOE sites and types of operation.

 

 

 

         Demonstrates evidence of continuous self-improvement, and is self-directed, or able to define and achieve goals with little supervision.

         Experience in training, facilitation, or other group participation activities is a plus, although not required.
