Database Programmer – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced database programmer versed in the Microsoft Product line. We are looking for an intermediate or greater level of experience in several areas.

Work with a team to develop the best analytical views of the data.

Client driven work requires Microsoft Access.

Position requirements are proficient ability in the following areas:

• Database design, normalization, managing
• Query building
• Form and Report writing
• QC
• VBA
• ADO
• SQL
• Procedures and Functions
• Importing data from other databases and flat files.
• Exporting data into Excel, Powerpoint etc.

Additional requirements that are a plus (but not required):

• Excel
• Microsoft Graph
• SQL Server
• ASP
• VB.NET
• HTML
• Degree in statistics, economics, or engineering
• Graphic art skills

Experience working in federal support contracts is desirable. Knowledge of Dept. of Energy activities is a plus.

Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident alien, with capability to gain security clearance. Candidate must be able to work in groups and in self-directed independent Client–focused tasks. Candidate must have tolerance and creativity for ambiguous goals, multiple tasks, and randomly urgent work schedules. Some travel may be occasionally necessary.
