Intelligence Analyst

Locations:    Albuquerque, New Mexico     Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Primary function to support mission operations; maintain interagency liaison relationships, collaborate with multilocation team members, and perform timely research and analysis in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis with primary responsibilities consisting of research, analysis, collaboration, liaison, and briefs.
  • Support all-source intelligence capability alongside a federal Intelligence Operations Specialist.
  • Expedite regional outreach to support requests for information and analysis.
  • Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources and assess relevance and significance of developments in assigned area in the form of briefings or assigned special projects.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on criminal, domestic, and international threats.
  • Maintain a comprehensive level of knowledge, skills, and abilities for the profession.
  • Complete tasks by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work within expected timeframes.
  • Remain adaptable, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years’ experience as an intelligence analyst or liaison officer for the military, the intelligence community, or a law enforcement organization.
  • Experience with one or more of the following—law enforcement or intelligence community liaison, social media analysis, all-source fusion analysis, counterintelligence analysis, asymmetric threat analysis, risk analysis.
  • Ability to exchange constructive critiques and collaborate with peers.
  • Possess strong research and analytical skills.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work directly with customers in an adaptable environment.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Be self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and to define and achieve objectives with little supervision.
  • Able to sit for extended periods and perform work in an office environment, including extensive use of computers.
  • Ability to meet requirements for a DOE security clearance and building access badge. Access will require the qualified candidate be a U.S. citizen with DOE Q clearance. The candidate’s written consent to conduct a background check for the purposes of maintaining a security clearance will be required as a condition of employment.
  • Certain positions requiring a security clearance may require the periodic successful completion of a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
  • Pass a pre-employment test for the absence of any illegal substances. Ongoing reviews and tests for the absence of illegal substances may be conducted for continued access to client sites. Written consent to such tests will be required as a condition of employment.

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three to five years prior military or law enforcement experience focused in the intelligence field.
  • Current DOE Q or Top Secret clearance.

Physical Demands:

  • Work is normally performed in an office setting.
  • Long work hours are periodically required.
  • Occasional travel within the Continental U.S. may be required.
